The Big Muddy District Family Campout was held on the site of the 2008 Boy Scout Camporee in Carrolton Missouri. Cub Scouts from all over the District came out with the family members to take part in an overnight campout, and an assortment of games and activities during the day on Saturday. For many of the Cub Scouts, it was their first time out, and while the weather was great, temperature wise, many of them found out where the leaks in their tents were as rain rolled in about three o'clock in the morning and lasted until just before daybreak.
